Kempinski’s Landscape Design, LLC was founded in 2015. Brandon, the owner, worked for his father, Thomas Kempinski, since he was 10 years old. Tom started his landscaping company in the 1980’s to try and support his family. He started going door to door with a push mower in Detroit MI, and the next thing you know he had a hand full of customers after a few weeks.

Tom then realized that he could make this side hustle into something bigger. He had his sons out helping the family business as soon as they could rake leaves and shovel snow. Brandon, his youngest, was going out to help his dad with lawn and snow services every day after school which lead to forming a partnership, the father and son landscaping duo. 

Unfortunately, Tom passed away in 2015 and Brandon made a choice to start his own landscaping company and take care of all the amazing customers they had over the years. He would start a family of his own and decide to move out of the Detroit area to Lapeer, MI. There his wife Taylor and two little boys Zayne and Kyro found an old farm home on 7 acres. This was always Toms dream to get a house on property and expand the business.

Brandon now wishes to fulfill his father’s dream himself and start expanding the business in beautiful Lapeer County.
